Over 5,200 Arizona Citizen's currently serve in the Arizona Army National Guard in one of our 200 career fields. Every Soldier serving in an Army National Guard unit is trained and equipped as part of the United States Army. Arizona Army National Guard Soldiers wear the same uniforms, rank, and insignia as their fellow Active Duty and Army Reserve Soldiers. To ensure a better overall readiness, Arizona Guard Soldiers receive both Federal and State funding for Training, Education, and Full Time service and support.
