Our Branford store is the flagship of all Marathon Sports locations in Connecticut. Julie and Bob Francis opened the doors in November of 2001 to service the growing running community before becoming a Marathon Sports location. The store is located in Branford’s beautiful town center and is the epicenter of the annual Branford Road Race. Our Branford location boasts a colorful history, once known as Collins & Freeman, maintaining the look and feel of its prior inhabitants. A tin ceiling, floors filled with holes that cables once fed and the original Collins & Freeman sign garnish the space.
