The Palace and gardens are amazing and the orangery is worth a wander past but there is nothing in the building itself. I paid the extra for the 4 garden sites but don't think its really worth it. I …Full review by julia s

Well, they say there is, and like you, I was curious about it. I even bought a dressy, long-sleeve shirt-tunic to hide my black jeans. Didn’t have to. Turns out that only eight guys wore ties out of some 150 in the audience. The other guys were mostly sloppy-to-reasonably dressed. The ladies were better dressed. No gowns, just nice dresses and pants-suits. Fewer wore jeans. Women, it seems, pay closer attention to dress codes. Go and enjoy the Mozart and the Strauss.

I can't recall if food was served on the premisses, but it seemed the concert was in a commercial area and, I would think, would have food nearby. How about contacting the concert hall …

I can't recall if food was served on the premisses, but it seemed the concert was in a commercial area and, I would think, would have food nearby. How about contacting the concert hall and asking them? I suppose most of the people who would be posting the orangerie are tourists and may be on tour busses, as I was. When they came out of the concert it was dark and back on the bus we went. Also, you could contact your hotel, and they would surely know. I'm with you, best to know before you head out.
