A car attempting to surpass a Brightline train at a railroad crossing was hit by the train in Miami-Dade County.

One person is hospitalized after a car and Brightline train collided on Wednesday morning in North Miami Beach, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Fire rescue got the call around 10 a.m. about a crash between a car and train near Northeast 165th Terrace and Biscayne Boulevard.
