Vasily Podkolzin scored the tiebreaking goal early in the third period, Connor McDavid had two goals and an assist, and the Edmonton Oilers beat the Minnesota Wild 5-3 for their seventh win in eight games.

The Wild started out the game in front with some quick goals but the Oilers fought back and took the lead and the win in the third.

Filip Gustavsson will start for the Wild tonight. He started the last time these two teams met. Gustavsson allowed five goals on 26 shots in the Wild's 7-1 loss to the Oilers on D
