Jigra: The Alia Bhatt headliner hit the big screen on October 11 coinciding with the Dussehra holiday. While the film has opened to decent reviews by the audience, Raazi's actress casting has become a point of contention.

Director Vasan Bala and actor Alia Bhatt recently shared their thoughts on their upcoming film, Jigra. Vasan shared how Karan Johar sent an unedited version of the script to Alia, and the latter also mentioned how she was intrigued by storyline and wanted to be a part of the film.

Filmmaker Vasan Bala shared a post and revealed manifesting working with Alia Bhatt in 2022. The director is delighted to have worked with the actor in his next film, Jigra.

Jigra's box office numbers have been disappointing to say the least with the film getting the worst opening for any Alia Bhatt film since 2014.
