After the winter snow storm that blanketed the Columbus area Tuesday, local school closures are continuing into Thursday. Officials in the Chattahoochee Valley made the following announcements Wednesday about whether their schools will remain closed, reopen, resume in-person classes or stay remote with virtual instruction online:

Schools intend to reopen Thursday but were worried about travel conditions Wednesday under the threat of ice and snow.
