Inter went ahead early on in the first half yesterday evening. It took a moment of real inspiration from Nerazzurri captain Lautaro Martinez to put his team ahead. He squeezed the ball in at the near post from an improbable angle on the volley. Other than that, however, there was little inspiration to be found in attack for Inter.
