Chael Sonnen says he doesn’t believe for a second that Conor McGregor is actually going to get paid $250 million to go fight Logan Paul in a boxing match in India.

Things are beginning to sound serious between Logan Paul and Conor McGregor. If the UFC is involved in the negotiations, there is a great chance the boxing match happens.

McGregor has not competed in any combat sports since his leg break against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. Despite multiple teases of a return, including a planned fight with Michael Chandler in mid-2024, injuries have delayed his comeback.

“There is a very big, former champion that’s a star of the mixed martial arts, his name is Conor McGregor, he is claiming that he’s going to get $250 million to go box Logan Paul in India for a billionaire investor who wants to bring attention and tourism to India,” Sonnen said on his YouTube channel.

According to a recent report, the UFC is backing a potential boxing match between Conor McGregor and Logan Paul.

"A $250M clash of titans is set as Logan Paul and Conor McGregor gear up for a historic showdown in Mumbai, marking a groundbreaking moment in combat sports history!" Glenn reported. Earlier this month, on Dec. 17, McGregor had teased the fight, claiming to be in “preliminary agreements with the Ambani family” to stage said fight.

Chael Sonnen has cast doubt on Conor McGregor boxing Logan Paul. McGregor confirmed there were talks for him to box Logan in India in an exhibition. Reports indicated that a $500 million pot would be split evenly between the pair.
