A confirmed Tren de Aragua gang member and Venezuelan national was accused of recruitment efforts at middle schools in Houston, according to authorities.

SAN ANTONIO – A Venezuelan gang named Tren de Aragua has been making headlines lately in Texas. Most recently, four members were arrested in a multi-agency drug bust that took place at an apartment complex on San Antonio’s north side on Oct. 5.

Dallas police have also said the department has had gang activity in the North Dallas area tied to the gang, and is collaborating with other agencies
