Cynthia Erivo, the star of Disney’s Wicked and recent Oscar nominee for Best Actress, has added yet another controversy to her list after accusing her instructors at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) of dismissing her as “lazy.
After earning her second best actress Oscar nomination for playing Elphaba, Erivo got a second chance at an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony (EGOT) sweep.
As the Oscar nominations came out, Wicked was a heavy-hitter on the list with ten nominations. Along with her co-star Ariana Grande also reacting to her Best Supporting Actress nod, Cynthia Erivo had some sweet things to say about being in the running for Best Actress this year. Check out her post:
