Miguel Almiron has left Newcastle United for Atlanta United, six years after first switching from MLS to the Premier League.
Almiron will reportedly sign a four-and-a-half year contract at Atlanta, where he played his football between 2016 and 2019 after joining from Argentine side Lanús. During his first spell in America, he played 70 games across all competitions – scoring 22 and creating 21 – before sealing £21m move to St. James’ Park.
