Smoke was reported emanating from the building in the 2600 block of South Susan Street, east of Santa Ana River, around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

The U.S. General Services Administration could sell 443 federal buildings nationwide, including the one in Santa Ana.
