Storm Éowyn has hit the UK this morning and an Amber weather warning in place for very strong winds, particularly across the North East throughout today. In effect from 6am until 9pm tonight residents can expect widespread gusts of 60-70mph during the day in some areas, potentially reaching up to 90mph along coastal areas and hilly regions.
