The month of October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and people across York County came together to show support. There was a show of support earlier today at Smalls Field in York County, where people came together while wearing the color purple in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month during which people provide information about domestic violence and resources for people who need help, including those who are pregnant.  Pregnant women in the U.

Every year in October, for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a nonprofit in Monroe County organizes a vigil to raise awareness for survivors.
