Behold, the Drop-Top Charger Daytona EV That Dodge Won’t Make
Nothing suggests that Dodge will release a convertible version of the new Charger, so the aftermarket is again stepping in to fill the void. Florida-based coachbuilder Drop Top Customs chopped off the Charger Daytona’s roof to create the only electric four-seater convertible currently available in the United States.

In March, Dodge introduced the Charger Daytona EV, claiming it’s the “World’s first” electric muscle car. You can pick from two models, the base R/T or for the adrenaline junkies, the high-performance Scat Pack trim may be a better option.
The First Droptop Dodge Charger Daytona Has Room For Improvement
Before the roof gets sawed off, a new Charger Daytona R/T starts from just under $60,000. It has a dual-motor AWD system making 456 horsepower and has a 100.5 kWh battery. The official range figure for that car is 317 miles, but with the roof open, that figure will probably drop off.
