Boston University women’s hockey’s turnaround under Tara Watchorn hit a high point on Saturday night, as Sydney Healey potted an overtime game-winner against Northeastern in the Hockey East championship game to return the Terriers to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2015.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Women's Hockey team secured the #1 seed in the NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Tournament Sunday. The team will make its 12th straight NCAA tournament appearance next weekend in Madison at LaBahn Arena.

For its regular season and conference tournament efforts, Wisconsin was awarded the top seed in the 2025 National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey Championship. It is UW's 12th consecutive appearance in the tournament and 19th overall. The only program with more appearances is the Minnesota Gophers women's hockey team.
