3.8 magnitude earthquake in Maine felt in Massachusetts
YORK, ME. (WWLP) – An earthquake has been confirmed in Maine that could be felt here in western Massachusetts. The U.S. Geological Survey reports that at 10:22 a.m. on Monday, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake, which has since been downgraded to 3.8, was centered in the Atlantic Ocean 11 kilometers southeast of York Harbor.
