An old water tower was set for demolition on Tuesday, however, it fell in the wrong direction. Crews say one of the cables snapped, causing the tower to lose stability and fall the wrong way.
Local history buffs are working to preserve some of the tower’s steel, which come from manufacturers that got their start in the 1800s.
