Police said the robbery happened at the Pronto Mart at 4301 Duval Street around 7:30 p.m. on Christmas Day. The suspect allegedly threatened a store employee before leaving the store on foot “with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register,” APD said in a release Monday.

The Albany Police Department is searching for the suspect in an armed robbery. According to a Facebook post, the suspect was involved in an armed robbery in the 2200 block of S. Washington Street. Anyone with information is asked to call APD at (229) 431-2100.
