SWEPCO and the City of Shreveport’s Department of Water, Sewerage and Environmental Services are taking steps to prepare their grids and systems ahead of the winter storm.

There was nearly a full house Tuesday (Jan. 7) at Randy Sams’ Outreach Center in Texarkana. This homeless shelter has opened its doors to anyone seeking refuge from the cold.
