Joe Gibbs Racing announced Wednesday it has signed Taylor Gray to drive full-time in the Xfinity Series in 2025. Gray, the 19-year-old prospect, will pilot the No. 54 Toyota. Tyler Allen will serve as Gray’s crew chief.

Taylor Gray will drive the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 54 Toyota full time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2025, the team announced Oct. 16. Gray has nine Xfinity starts this season with JGR, with three top-10 finishes, including a third-place run in his debut at Richmond Raceway.

That Taylor Gray is graduating from the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Tricon Garage to full-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series with Joe Gibbs Racing next season was not a surprise. Especially provided that Gray has driven for JGR in a part-time role this season.
