TECO: 97% of customers have their power back post-Milton
TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Electric said their crews have restored power for almost all customers following Hurricane Milton. Officials said as of Wednesday morning, 97% of customers have power and 95% of customers impacted by the storm have had their service restored, according to a news release.

As of Monday morning, about 190,000 TECO customers remain without power. At its peak, TECO saw about 600,000 outages from Hurricane Milton. Since the storm, about 6,000 line workers have been working around the clock to get the power back on.
