A seaplane crashed during takeoff from an Australian tourist island, killing three people including Swiss and Danish tourists and injuring three others.

Australian aerospace authorities confirmed that a tragic aircraft crash had taken place near Thomson Bay in Western Australia, which involved a seaplane-configured Cessna 208 Caravan that was operated by Swan River Seaplanes.

Authorities say they are investigating the cause of the crash off island located near Perth, Western Australia.
